River Secrets

With the untamed wish to share and produce quality, A complex wine took shape with layers of fruits and a lovely lingering mouthfeel. A cool breeze coming from the Indian Ocean drifts over the waters of the Breede River through the vineyards, lowering the grapes temperatures resulting in a perfect blend. Grapes were hand-harvested at the break of early morning in 10kg lug boxes. Sorted by hand, crushed and pressed. Keeping the juice of these 3 components separate during natural fermentation and lees contact till the end of autumn. Blended to marry for 3 months before bottling.

Mystique Mountain

Berry fruit and ripe plum, warm tones of tobacco and nutmeg, softly balanced with chocolate and subtle wood. As the mountain – time is of the essence. On the ancient rocky river banks of the Breede Rivier and under the watchful eye of the majestic Langeberg Mountain this vineyard grows parallel to its beauty. Constantly 50% lower temperatures during the night as during the day.

Picked in 10kg lug boxes in mid of March, the grapes were hand-sorted and destemmed. Fermented naturally and spending time in French oak barrels to be fused into an exceptional blend of Shiraz, Mouvedre and Grenache.

☕ Serving suggestion: Equally well with beef, pork, duck, lamb, or game.
